About the Libraries of Oregon Project

Libraries of Oregon is a joint effort by the State Library of Oregon and Oregon State University Libraries to connect Oregonians with library online resources around the state and beyond. All Oregon residents have access to a wide range of digital resources provided by the Oregon State Library. Libraries of Oregon's mission is to enable easier access to these statewide resources and help the citizens of Oregon connect with their home libraries.

Special thanks to former State Librarian Jim Scheppke and the Oregon State Library Board who provided the vision and financial support for this project, and to Karyle Butcher and Faye Chadwell at OSU Libraries for encouraging the libraries to work locally, but act globally.
