(*) The Willamette Valley Genealogical Society was organized in December, 1968, to create and foster the study of family history, to aid in the publication of local history, and to aid in the establishment of materials in local genealogical library collections. WVGS’s collection of books, CDs and microfilm is housed at Salem Public Library.
